The MAST Makos Black History and Culture Brain Bowl team came in second in the Regional competition.

Congratulations to MAST Academy's Young Scientists!
Congratulations to MAST Academy young scientists for their performance in the Regional Science and Engineering Fair.
The recipients of Honorable Mention Award are: Keaton Scanlon and Yurimar Jaen
The Recipients of Excellence Award are: Daniela Muino, Ana Mifsud and Clarissa Trabanino; Carolina Almonacid; Carolina Giraldo and Minh Nguyen; additionally Carolina and Minh won the Psychological Society award.
And the recipient of Superior Award is Yue Yuan (Jane); Jane is also representing Miami Dade County Public School in the State Competition.

The University of Florida is proud to announce the tenth year of our Lombardi Scholarship Program and the second year ofour Stamps Scholar Program. Students selected for these awards exemplify a commitment to excellence, community service, and public responsibility. We are seeking your help to identify an outstanding senior from your school who is seeking admission to UF for fall or summer 2011. The postmark deadline for student application is January 31, 2011 (nomination forms are to be included in the applicant's packet). Note that admission decisions will not be made by this date, but the committee will take decisions into account when they become available February 11.
